The chicago Fly Fishers organization was established in 1977 by a group of dedicated fly fisherman and fly tiers. Their goal was to provide a social gathering place for individals who were interested in fly tying and fly fishing and to share their knowledge and experiences with each other and other interested parties. From that beginning, the organization grew to what it is today. Currently it supports and promotes conservation projects, the art of fly tying, fly fishing and youth related programs

We meet each week on Wednesday 7:30 pm. at the Park Ridge Community Church at 100 Courtland Ave. Park Ridge, Il.. Demonstrations on fly tying are preformed by an experienced demonstrator, after which time the membership has an opportunity to tie the same pattern using materials provided by the club. In addition, we also have an annual picnic, internet-flets-campaign.net, an auction, and a few fishing outings during the summer months.

Experience the best cold water fishing in the midwest.
Spend a wonderful day drifting down the cool waters of the legandary Pere Marquette River while fishing for trout, salmon and steelhead. Beginners and Children are always welcome.
